It is building a three-storey hostel at Ayeduase, with the capacity to house 90 students.
The Right Reverend S.K. Adofo, the Primate and Spiritual Head, announced this to journalists on the sidelines of the celebration of the 34th anniversary of the church in Kumasi. The event was held under the theme “This is how far the Lord has helped us”.
The Rt. Rev Adofo said the expectation was that the project would be ready by next year.
The structure had already been roofed and it was now left with the fixing of sliding doors and windows, the floor tiles and furnishing. He stated that a lot had been achieved over the past three decades of the church’s existence.
It has established seven basic schools, which are helping to provide many children with access to quality education.The church operates 15 dioceses, 110 branches and has engaged 105 full time pastors.The Rt. Rev Adofo encouraged the members to intensify the church’s evangelism – the spread of the gospel to bring salvation to more people.
